The project aims to contribute to an increase in SMEs competitiveness in the international scene through use of innovative technologies such as e-learning to train SMEs staff in foreign trading with a European prospective, combining relative strength brought by each partner country organisation.
Objectives of the project include
The main products arising from the project this proposal will be based on, include a CD-ROM containing the broad framework of the 'training of trainers' course and key aspects of international trade procedures. A second product comprises a hard copy training manual to be used by trainers in the delivery of the export skills development program.
As it is mentioned in section C.1.1, there is limited number of organizations which gives limited content training on foreign trade in Turkey and the partner countries. Most of these programs target the training of export trainers. In the project export trainers will be the main targeted group. With a multiplier effect, this will help dissemination of the results and provide more efficient and effective approach.
The rationale behind the proposal is that it will improve accessibility to the product by a wide audience who will utilise it for the purpose of export promotion through the whole domestic country as well as the partner countries.
Our proposal aims to enhance, adapt, localise, and utilize in an innovative way the results of the previous project via e-learning.
The main added value provided by our proposal would be that it will incorporate an innovative and previously unused medium to make e-learning more accessible to people who cannot afford to attend formal vocational or class-room adult training.
The project makes a direct contribution to the EU policy to encourage life-long learning and to stimulate SME growth. The project tackles barriers to improving industry based skills in the field of international trade by using a pole of trained trainers and by using new technology – e-learning which are directly relevant with the skill needs of the work force.
