Objective:

RESELTAM means development of web-based education module for the craftsmen working in restoration sector to receive a vocational training according to European Quality standardization.


RESELTAM project is aiming adaptation of existing contents of restoration education programs in European countries revising them accordingly to cultural dissimilarities and comparision of target group needs analysis, to an e-Learning system where the visual foreground is emphasized. In this way a standart, accessible, renewable, intelligible, by means of simulations and films, curriculum, build up. The education system will be used in improving the education level of craftsmen and in long term the quality of practices in restoration sector will be raised to the European standards.

Desired Results:

Primary aim of the Project is creating a web based education module within the frame of European Quality standards. In order to make easy the utilisation of the system by target group members there will be a handbook which will be based on analysis of existing education systems and needs analysis of TG in partner countries. Current restoration education programs of partner countries will be examined according to the results deriving from up-to-date target group analysis and will be adapted to e-Learning system by cooperation of pedagoges, teachers, pilot workgroups from sector and stakeholders.

The education content resulting from cooperation of the field experts in direction of pedagogical approaches will be followed up during the piloting stage and at the end of this stage will be revised according to feedbacks gathered from TG members. The education content will be simple, comprehensible, mostly based on visual elements and on methodologies suitable for interactive studying.

These studies as an outcome will illuminate the differences or similarities between the expectations of employers and employees. This output will be an important pace in order to meet the skilled employees need of the sector, employers will prefer the craftsmen with RESELTAM training and in long term it will be a positive pace in increasing employment opportunities of unskilled young people which is the main aim of vocational education programs.
